How to play
Pass three cards
Most hands start by passing three cards to a neighbour. Pass your riskiest ones: the queen of spades and high hearts are the ones to get rid of.
Play the tricks
The two of clubs leads. Each player adds a card, and you must follow the suit led if you can. The highest card of that suit takes the trick.
Avoid the points
Every heart is one point and the queen of spades is thirteen. The lowest score wins. If one player takes every point, they shoot the moon and everyone else gets 26.

Good to know
Quick answers about playing Hearts on Wittlo.
Is Hearts free?
Yes. It is free to play, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
Who do I play against?
Three computer players. There are no other people and nothing is sent anywhere.
How does passing work?
On three hands out of four you pass three cards: to the left, then to the right, then across the table. Every fourth hand has no passing.
Why can I not play some cards?
You must follow the suit led if you have it. Hearts cannot lead until a heart has been played, and there are no points on the first trick if you can avoid them. The game dims the cards you cannot play and tells you why.
What is shooting the moon?
If one player takes all the hearts and the queen of spades, they score nothing and every other player scores 26.
Is my game saved?
No. A game is quick, so one you leave part-way is not kept.
