How to play
Trace a word
Tap letters that touch each other, sideways, up, down or diagonally, to spell a word of four or more letters.
Clear it
Press Clear word. Those letters vanish and the ones above them drop down, so new words become possible.
Clear the board
Keep going until no letters are left. Every board has at least one way to clear it. Press Undo if you get stuck.

Is Word Clearout free?
Yes. It is free to play, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
Do I have to find the same words you hid?
No. Any real word of four or more letters counts. The board was built from a few common words, so there is always at least one way to clear it, but you may find others.
Can I get stuck?
Yes, if you clear words that leave letters you cannot use. Press Undo to take words back, or Start again.
Can I use a letter twice in one word?
No. Each letter on the grid can be used once in a word. Letters that touch can be next to each other in any direction, including diagonally.
