How to play
Draw, then discard
Each turn you take the top card of the pile, or the face-up card, and then throw one card away. Your cards are grouped for you into sets and runs.
Make sets and runs
A set is three or four cards of the same rank. A run is three or more cards in a row in one suit, with the ace low. Cards in neither are left over.
Knock when you can
When your left-over cards add up to 10 or less you can knock to end the hand. If you have none left over, that is gin. The lower total scores the difference.

Quick answers about playing Gin Rummy on Wittlo.
Is Gin Rummy free?
Yes. It is free to play, with no sign-up and nothing to install.
How are cards scored?
Aces are worth 1 point, jacks, queens and kings 10, and every other card its number. The points of the cards left over count against you.

What is gin?
Going out with no cards left over. You score the other player's left-over points plus a 25 point bonus, and they cannot add cards to your sets.
What if the pile runs out?
When only two cards are left in the pile, the hand is a draw and nobody scores.
Can the game help me?
Yes. It groups your cards into sets and runs as you play, and the Hint button tells you what to take and what to discard.
Is my game saved?
No. A game is quick, so one you leave part-way is not kept.
