How to play
Start with a word
You are given a start word and a target word.
Change one letter
Each step changes exactly one letter, and every step must be a real word. For example COLD, CORD, CARD, WARD, WARM.
Beat par
Par is the fewest steps using everyday words. After you finish you can see the very shortest route.

Can every ladder be solved?
Four-letter ladders can always be solved with everyday words. Five-letter ladders may need rarer words.
