Algebra
Laws of exponents, a power of a power, and simplifying square roots. One equation, two equations added or subtracted, and what is actually being asked. Finding roots, sums of squares of roots, and the difference of two squares.
What you will practise
- Exponents and radicals. Laws of exponents, a power of a power, and simplifying square roots.
- Linear equations and systems. One equation, two equations added or subtracted, and what is actually being asked.
- Quadratics and factoring. Finding roots, sums of squares of roots, and the difference of two squares.
How the drill works
You get a set of ten questions at the level you choose, easy, medium or hard. Every set is generated fresh, so you can keep going without seeing the same question twice. After each answer you see the working. When you pick a wrong answer, the explanation names the slip that usually leads to it, so you can spot it next time. Drills are for practice only: Wittlo makes no claim about exam results.
