How to play Seven Letters
Make as many words as you can from seven letters, always using the one in the middle.
The rules, step by step
- Seven letters are shown. One is in the middle. Every word you make must use the middle letter.
- Words must be at least four letters long.
- You can use a letter more than once in the same word.
- Type or tap your word and press Enter. Real words score points: four-letter words score 1, and longer words score one point for each letter.
- One special word uses all seven letters. It scores a big bonus.
- Your rank goes up as your points grow. There is no timer, and you can stop whenever you like.
An example
Imagine the middle letter is A, and the other letters are R, T, S, N, I and E.
RAIN, STAR and TRAIN all use the A, so they count. TEN does not count, because it is too short and has no A.
RETAINS uses all seven letters, so it is the special bonus word.
Tips
- Start with short words, then try to make them longer by adding letters.
- Try adding S, ED, ER or ING to words you have already found.
- Do not worry about finding every word. Reaching a good rank is a nice goal.
