How to play Whodunit
Use the clue rows to work out who did each case. Only one answer fits.
The rules, step by step
- Choose a level and a mode. The daily puzzle is the same for everyone.
- Each clue row names one suspect for every case. The first number is how many of the names are culprits, in any case. The second is how many are in the right case.
- Nobody did two cases, so every case has a different culprit.
- Pick someone for each case and press Check. If your answer breaks a clue, the game tells you which row to look at again.
An example
A row with 0 culprits means none of its names did any case, so you can cross all of them off.
Tips
- Start with rows that show 0 culprits. They remove names for good.
- A row with every name a culprit but 0 in the right case tells you each one belongs somewhere else.
- Try a guess like "this name in this case" and see which row it breaks.
