How to play Word Strips
Slide the letter strips so the row spells words, and use up every letter.
The rules, step by step
- Choose 4-letter or 5-letter words. The daily puzzle is the same for everyone.
- Each column is a strip of letters. Press the arrows above and below it to slide it, or use the arrow keys.
- Whenever the middle row spells a real word, it is counted and those letters are used up.
- Keep going until every letter in every strip has been used at least once.
An example
If one strip has T, S and B in it, make a word that starts with each of them to use all three.
Tips
- Look for the strips with the fewest letters first: they limit your choices.
- A letter can be used in many words, so reuse the easy ones to reach the rare letters.
- Press Hint for the first two letters of a word that uses a letter you have left.
